Dr. Angela Gonzalez, DDS
Dr. Angela Gonzalez is the founder of Artistic Smiles and a licensed Doctor of Dental Surgery. She has continued her education by attending the prestigious Pankey Institute and Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Gonzalez has more than 18 years of experience as a dentist with an emphasis on cosmetic dentistry. After sharing a practice with another dentist for 13 years in the Clear Lake area of Houston, Dr. Gonzalez launched her own practice and formed Artistic Smiles in 2007.
Dr. Gonzalez is a graduate of Texas A&M University and the University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston. In 2008, Dr. Gonzalez was named America’s Top Dentist by the Consumer Research Council of America. Dr. Gonzalez is certified in CPR and a member of the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Cosmetic Dentistry, American Dental Association, Texas Association of Women Dentists, Aesthetic Laser Association and the Greater Houston Dental Society.
Dr. Gonzalez and Artistic Smiles also are members of the Clear Lake Area Chamber of Commerce. She and Artistic Smiles are sponsors of the Lunar Rendezvous Festival 2009 and are also involved in the Clear Creek Education Foundation and other charitable events.
Dr. Gonzalez enjoys spending time with her three children and her dogs. She also enjoys outdoor sports, working out and playing the piano.
Registered Dental Assistant
Michaela attended The College for Healthcare Professionals where she earned her RDA license in 2014. A native of Roswell, New Mexico Michaela decided to make Texas her permanent home when she was 6. She is the newest member of the Artistic Smiles team joining us in August of 2019, but she has jumped in and not skipped a beat.
In her spare time she loves to explore new things to do around the Houston area with her husband and 3 daughters.
Aleta is a native of Nassau Bay and attended both Remington College and Houston Community College. She has been in the dental field for over 5 years. What she loves about her job is interacting with the patients, meeting new people, and learning new tasks. When not at work, she likes to spend time with her family and go on vacations.
Registered Dental Hygienist
Amanda attended Coleman College for Health Sciences where she studied dental hygiene. She joined Artistic Smiles in 2015 and is a native of Sugar Land, TX. Amanda enjoys dentistry because it gives her the opportunity to meet new people and help them achieve a healthy smile.
Outside of work, Amanda likes to spend time with her fiancé and her Jack Russell Terrier, Purdey. She also enjoys cooking, trying new restaurants, running, and traveling.
Registered Dental Hygienist
A native of Valley Springs, AR, Bethany joined the Artistic Smiles dental team in 2015. She attended the University of Central Arkansas where she received her bachelor’s degree and then went on to Houston Community College for her dental hygiene training.
Bethany enjoys helping people realize how oral hygiene can affect their overall health and making them proud to show off their smiles again. In her free time, Bethany loves spending time with her husband and three kids and traveling as much as possible.
